*The IgG antibody blood test and the Oral or Nasal Swab tests may be eligible for a reduced rate, based on your consultation with the Nurse Practitioner, if you have a PPO insurance card, as insurances are covering Covid-19 testing for certain diagnoses.

Antibody tests should not be used as a sole basis to diagnosis or exclude SARS-CoV-2 or to inform infection status. Negative antibody test results do not rule out SARS-CoV-2 infection, particularly in those who have been in contact with the virus. All of our rapid tests are FDA EUA approved.

*This test is not recommended to be used as the sole method for detection of SARS-CoV-2 (coronavirus). The number of antibodies contained in the blood sample can possibly be too small to meet the minimum required for detection according to the limit of this particular test. So, results do not definitively prove current/past SARS-CoV-2 (coronavirus) infection. Results also do not rule out infections caused by other viruses. Per FDA’s policy on serological testing for COVID-19, the FDA does not object to the distribution of this test to medical professionals and laboratories use.

**IHD has FDA EUA for qualitative detection of nucleic acid from SARS-CoV-2 in respiratory specimens collected from individuals suspected of COVID-19 by their healthcare provider. ***This test is 97% sensitive and 98% specific for Covid-19, indicating the presence of 4-Antigen X 2 antibodies— IgG & IgM. Further discussion with our licensed practitioner can aid your choice of test, as well as your interpretation of results, in light of your symptoms and experience.
