Financial Policies
Integrative Health Innovations, Inc., doing business as Joy Wellness Partners and Herway Health (“Joy Wellness Partners,” “Herway Health,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to providing transparent financial policies so that patients understand their financial responsibilities before receiving treatment.
Payment Policy
Payment in full is required at the time services are rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
Payment plans may be available for qualifying purchases. Please speak with our staff to discuss available options.
Certain appointments, procedures, or services may require a deposit at the time of scheduling.
Required deposits are non-refundable.
Prepaid treatment packages, memberships, and service packages are non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Appointment Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Our goal is to provide every patient with timely, personalized medical care. When appointments are cancelled without sufficient notice or missed entirely, it prevents us from offering those appointment times to other patients.
We require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
- Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- Patients who fail to appear for a scheduled appointment (“no-show”) may also be charged a $50 no-show fee.
- Required deposits and prepaid treatment packages remain non-refundable.
- Applicable fees may be charged to the payment method securely maintained on file.
Medical Records
Requests for medical records should be submitted at least 48 hours in advance and may require completion of an authorization form.
A processing fee may apply where permitted by law.
Administrative Note: The previous policy referenced a $25 processing fee. Please confirm this amount remains compliant with current California law before publishing a specific fee.
Insurance & Reimbursement
Joy Wellness Partners and Herway Health operate as direct-pay medical practices.
We do not accept or bill insurance directly.
Upon request, we may provide documentation containing applicable billing and diagnosis information that patients may submit to their insurance carrier for possible reimbursement.
Integrative Health Innovations, Inc., doing business as Joy Wellness Partners and Herway Health, does not guarantee reimbursement or insurance coverage. Patients are solely responsible for confirming eligibility, benefits, and reimbursement directly with their insurance carrier.

Returned Payments
Checks returned due to insufficient funds, stop payment, or any other reason for non-payment may be assessed a $50 non-sufficient funds (NSF) fee.
Any associated bank fees or collection costs permitted by law remain the responsibility of the patient.
Changes to Financial Policies
We reserve the right to modify these Financial Policies at any time. Any updates will be posted on this page and become effective upon publication unless otherwise required by law.
